Privacy Policy

In short

• We do not sell your personal data or pass it on for advertising.
• We collect no card or bank details at all, because no payment is taken on the platform.
• Analytics cookies run only if you accept them.
• You can delete your account and your data yourself, at any time.

What we collect

Your name and e-mail when you register; your company details and an authorised contact when you open a company account. Then the content you create (listings, requests, reviews, messages) and the technical records security requires (IP address, session).

Verification documents are stored in a separate, non-public area and can be opened only by authenticated admin or moderator accounts. They are never placed at a public address.

Quote requests and your contact details

When you send a quote request it reaches the companies you chose (or that match your sector and region) together with your contact details — that is what the request is for. One request reaches at most 25 companies; nobody can blast the whole directory.

Do not publish your contact details inside a listing, a review or a request description: those fields are public, and automated review will hold such content for inspection anyway.

Messages

Buyers and companies can write to each other on the platform. A conversation has two sides: the buyer and the owner of the company account. The company sees the buyer's name and messages; messaging does not by itself show your e-mail address or phone number to the other side. You are free to share your own contact details in a message.

The first messages of a conversation, until the other side replies, are screened automatically for spam and fraud (see below). If the model is unsure, a moderator reads that message before it is delivered. Once the other side has replied, messages are no longer screened.

The admin panel does not list conversations. A moderator can read a conversation only when one of its sides reports it, and only to deal with that report.

When a new message arrives you get a notification and — unless you turned it off — an e-mail with the message's first lines; you can turn these e-mails off in your account settings. Blocking a conversation keeps its history readable to both sides but stops new messages.

Messages are kept for as long as both sides' accounts exist. When either side deletes their account, the conversation and all its messages are deleted for both.

AI content review

Listings, reviews and requests are screened automatically before publication, and the first messages of a conversation before they are delivered. For this the text itself is sent to Google's Gemini API. Your name, e-mail address, phone number and account id are not sent — the model sees only the text being judged.

Cookies

Apart from the strictly necessary cookies that keep you signed in, we use none. Google Analytics loads only after you accept in the cookie notice, and runs with IP anonymisation. See the Cookie Policy for detail.

Security

Passwords are stored irreversibly (bcrypt); site and API traffic is encrypted with TLS. Admin access is role-based and every change is written to an audit log. No system is perfectly secure, though — if you notice anything suspicious, please tell us.

Deleting your data

Use 'Delete account' in your buyer panel to remove your account and its data permanently. For company accounts, write to bilgi@avristan.net.

Changes

If this policy changes, the current version appears on this page and the date above changes. Registered members are e-mailed about significant changes.
